Open Access Policy

Advances in Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Health (AJPNAHS) is committed to open-access publishing and encourages the dissemination of original research in the fields of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied health professions. Our open-access policy is designed to provide broad access to research findings while maintaining the rights of authors. Below is AJPNAHS’s open access policy, following a structure similar to the one you provided:

Open Access Policy:

Copyright Ownership:

The copyright for the text of individual articles is initially held by the authors. However, upon submission of articles to AJPNAHS, authors grant the journal a general license to publish and distribute the article.

Creative Commons License:

AJPNAHS applies a Creative Commons Attribution CCBY license to all published articles.

Originality and Prior Publication:

All work submitted to AJPNAHS must be original and unpublished. It should not have been previously published elsewhere, accepted for publication elsewhere, or under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Copyright Form:

Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, the Corresponding Author, on behalf of all authors, will be required to sign and submit a completed Copyright Form. This form ensures that authors understand and agree to the terms of the Creative Commons CC-BY license.

Permission to Reproduce:

By submitting their work to AJPNAHS, authors grant permission to others to reproduce their articles, including any graphics and third-party materials supplied by them, in accordance with the journal’s Terms and Conditions. This permission is subject to any copyright notices provided by the authors.

License Version:

AJPNAHS applies the current version of the Creative Commons Attribution License, which, as of 2024, is CC-BY, version 4.0. The license will automatically be updated to the latest version as and when updated by the Creative Commons organization.

License Terms:

Users must adhere to the following license terms:

  • Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the original authors, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. This attribution can be done in any reasonable manner, but it should not suggest that AJPNAHS endorses the user or their use of the material.
  • No Additional Restrictions: Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

AJPNAHS’s open access policy aims to facilitate the widespread dissemination of scientific knowledge while preserving the rights and attribution of authors. We encourage authors and users to familiarize themselves with the terms of the Creative Commons CC-BY license for a complete understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
